  13. PowerMac users need to be aware that the system ColorPicker extension must be installed and active for ColorSafe™ to function properly (at all) on PowerMac computers. You should use the Extension Manager to confirm that it is present prior to attempting to use ColorSafe™.

  15. The alert that will be reported if the ColorPicker extension is not present is:

  17. "Could not complete your request because of a problem with the Macintosh Code Fragment Manager." When attempting to select ColorSafe™ from the filters menu.

  19. This behavior does not occur on 68k based Macintoshes. The System color picker will simply not be available as an option on 68k based machines if the ColorPicker extension is not present.
